Gold 3D logo: warm metal for seals, labels, and premium marks
A gold 3D logo is an extruded mark finished with a warm, saturated metal material whose reflections carry a yellow-orange tint. In the 3DLogo.io editor, gold is a preset group: Gold Clean, Rough Gold, and Damaged Gold, plus Rose Gold, Copper, Brass, and Platinum in the Precious Metals group.
When to use a gold 3d logo
Gold is visually heavier than chrome and reads as value rather than technology. It suits wax-seal style monograms, certificate and award marks, wine and spirits labels, and packaging where the logo is printed or foiled rather than shown on a screen. The editor's gold uses the darker, more saturated base colour of the reference glTF material, not a pale yellow.

Conditions and limitations
Gold on a warm background loses contrast; put it on a dark or cool ground. Rough Gold hides fine detail, so keep it for large marks. Real foil printing will not match a rendered highlight exactly; use the render for screens and mockups, and the exported vector or GLB for production.

How to make a gold 3d logo on 3DLogo.io
- Open the editor and upload your mark, or type the name in Text mode.
- Choose Solar Gold, then Gold Clean. For a pink or red tint pick Rose Gold or Copper under Precious Metals.
- Raise the bevel slightly; gold shows its warmth on rounded edges.
- Use a dark background and the studio or sunset environment.
- Export PNG for a mockup, GLB for a 3D scene, or MP4 for a reveal.

Gold versus chrome and brushed metal
Gold and chrome are both mirror finishes; gold adds a warm tint and reads as premium, chrome stays neutral and reads as technical. Brushed metal replaces the mirror with a directional grain, so it looks machined rather than polished. If the logo will be foiled or embossed, gold; if it will live in an app, chrome.

- Can I make a rose gold logo?
- Yes. Rose Gold is a preset in the Precious Metals group; open the editor with material=gold-rose or pick it in the Look panel.
- Does the gold logo export with transparency?
- PNG exports can be transparent, so the gold mark drops onto any background. MP4 always renders the scene background.
- Is the 3D coin generator the same as a gold logo?
- No. The 3D coin generator strikes your mark into a coin blank with reeded, milled, or smooth edges. A gold 3D logo is the mark itself, extruded and finished in gold.
