Web scene in. Apple AR zip out.
iPhone and iPad open USDZ in Files, Messages, and Safari. This page reads a GLB and writes that zip in the tab. Empty geometry is refused. Keep GLB for the web; use this route when the next step is Quick Look.

Source GLB, target USDZ, drop the .glb, download a .usdz.

Source is GLB. The File API reads it in this tab. Nothing is posted. Keep it under 80 MB.

The in-memory GLB scene is written as a USDZ zip of USDA.

Open the USDZ on an iPhone or iPad. Keep the GLB for the web.
This page is only GLB → USDZ. Other pairs have their own keep and lose notes so they do not repeat this conversion.

| Drops | The single-file web pack. You now have a Quick Look zip. |

GLB as the source: Materials and textures stay when the source has them. Measured 2026-09-13 by running this converter’s own loaders and exporters headlessly. How every format was measured.
GLB is parsed with the File API. USDZ is written in memory. The single-file web pack. You now have a Quick Look zip. That is a format rule, not an upload. Files over 80 MB are refused because RAM is the limit.
