Web JSON in. Slicer mesh out.
A packed glTF can be a source for print if you only need the hull. This page writes binary STL and throws away materials. Pack split glTF to GLB first if the JSON is not self-contained. Repair is not included.

Packed glTF, target STL, preview the hull, download binary STL.

Source is glTF. The File API reads it in this tab. Nothing is posted. Keep it under 80 MB.
2
Binary STL is written from the mesh.

Open in the slicer. Check units.
This page is only glTF → STL. Other pairs have their own keep and lose notes so they do not repeat this conversion.
| On this conversion | What happens |
|---|---|
| Keeps | Triangles for a slicer. |
| Drops | Everything glTF is good at: PBR, images, clips. |
| Next step | Slice. Use glTF to GLB if you still needed the web file. |

glTF as the source: Geometry only. Color and clips are dropped. Measured 2026-08-27 by running this converter’s own loaders and exporters headlessly. How every format was measured.
glTF is parsed with the File API. STL is written in memory. Everything glTF is good at: PBR, images, clips. That is a format rule, not an upload. Files over 80 MB are refused because RAM is the limit.

Same destination. Different source pack. Use this page when you have packed JSON. Use GLB to STL when you already have a .glb.
No. STL is a triangle list. Keep glTF or GLB for the look.
No. glTF is parsed here and STL is written in memory. There is no convert API.
Yes. Open the glTF viewer if you only need to orbit. Convert when the next tool actually wants STL.
Slice. Use glTF to GLB if you still needed the web file.
